theorists explain schizophrenia

There are a few ways that theorists explain schizophrenia. Two of the models that are used by theorists are biological and sociocultural models to help explain schizophrenia. The reasons for this would be- biological is involved because when biological aspects are involved (parents having schizophrenia) there are genes involved in the passing of the disorder (Comer & Comer, 2021).  Sociocultural aspects would be including social aspects of the disorder, including their environment and their family behaviors and personal aspects. I personally think biological is the best model that explained the disorder, I have cases of schizophrenia and it seemed to be passed down from generation to generation for a little while. Since the biological model has more research and information behind it, I believe that is a main reason why it is the best model to explain.
