I work as a wound care nurse and supervisor in a 400 bed short term-long term including telemetry and hospice facility. Being a nurse interest me since it requires the study of the human body alongside other incredible opportunities that medical attendants have in this profession. I always wanted to become a nurse since I like having the option to help the patients who are in need. Nursing as a calling requires substantial critical thinking, clinical judgment, communication, and appraisal abilities. The professional nurse additionally requires the advancement and showing of a suitable set of qualities and moral structure for practice (Bennett, 2015).

From my point of view, I can describe diversity as a scope of various things, which may incorporate multiple individuals, products, investment portfolio, and numerous others. This way, it very well may be said to be the state of having or being shaped by various components, for example, individuals of different origin. It is an idea that individuals used in their day by day lives. For example, individuals are always keen on having a variety of garments dependent on the intrigue and the inclinations. Supervisors are similarly keen on contracting representatives with different backgrounds. My meaning of diversity is unique from other presented readings as it relates to society with humanity.

The pursuit for diversity in the nursing workforce guarantees that individuals from ethnic groups, societies and communities are available on the staff. These people contribute one of a kind thoughts and points of view that the group can use in the treatment of patients. Diversity in Nursing gives chances to oversee quality consideration to patients. Diversity and inclusion in the blend of various societies, ideas, and viewpoints that brings a more prominent joint effort, imagination, and development, which prompts better patient care and satisfaction (Spector, 2002). This is the direction wherein healthcare needs to go to better the strength of our present and future socioeconomics.
