Comparing two unlike things that are also somehow the same.

Three life-  The Charter oak and The Lawrence Tree.  These two works in the Wadsworth Atheneum Hartford. Use each of the objects to help describe the other, as well as itself. What can you teach yourself, and what new thoughts can you generate using comparison? Comparison might lead you astray- at least be aware of this possibility. Does getting off the beaten path improve your interpretive thoughts? List similarities and differences for these suggested pairings. List also at least 5 questions you have about each work.
