Question one
Wayne is hanging a string of lights 45 feet long around the 3 sides of his rectangular patio, which is adjacent to his house. The length of his patio, the side along the house, is 5 feet longer than 2 times it’s width. Find the length and width of the patio.
Question two
The sum of the measures of angles of a triangle is 180. The sum of the measures of the second and third angles is four times the measure of the first angle. The third angle is 10 more than the second. Let x,y, and z represent the measures of angles respectively. Find the measures of the three angles.
