Read materials explaining the Fossil Fuel Beta on 3 PDF. Using the data in the stocks.dta file for JPMorgan Chase & Co., Southwest Airlines Co., and Starbucks Corp. to calculate the Fossil-Fuel Beta for each of the stocks. Important: you must read the material posted on Blackboard in so that you will be able to interpret the coefficient properly. The section entitled “How the Charts Were Computed” in the Fossil-fuel beta charts document explain how the variables in the model are computed.
