Statistics is used to assess relationships and evaluate questions. Sometimes, the tools not properly. Most of the time it is missed use because of lack of planning and not knowing the material. According to Biochemia Medica(n.d), data abuses include the incorrect application of statistic test, lack of transparency and disclosure about decisions that are made, incomplete or incorrect multivariate model building or exclusion of outliers. An example of misinterpretation is unable to understand the graph properly and not be able answer the right answer.For instance, I have seen it a person is trying to choose a great surgeon. The graduated 1# graduated from harvard but has 3/5 starts and the second surgeon graduated from Berkley and has 5/5 stars. The person choose surgeon 31 because he graduated from Harvard but not knowing the 5/5 surgeon has better surgical skills then the surgeon that graduated from Harvard.
