A great leader does not have to possess management skills. Leaders and managers influence and direct the activities of others. As a nurse leader, we possess the abilities to work closely with the staff as well as management. Seeing firsthand what changes can be implemented to create a positive working environment with better outcomes, and take that same influence we have with the staff to the management level!Describe the difference in roles between leadership and management.
