The history can reveal any chronic illnesses and familial medical issues. Current use of contraception, STI history and sexual activity can guide care of the patient. Knowing her goals in relation to her health are important when guiding her with health education (Hawkins, Roberto-Nicholas & Stanley-Haney, 2020).This case study went into depth with multiple stages of the patient’s condition. With the use of ultrasound the fetus can be examined. You would find no fetal heart sound and no growth of the fetus (Hawkins, Roberto-Nicholas & Stanley-Haney, 2020).The primary diagnosis would be inevitable abortion due the presence of dilated os. Secondary diagnosis would include; inclomplete abortion if all the fetal contents have not been expelled, complete abortion if all the contents have been expelled or septic abortion due to an infection in the cervix. With pregnancy the mothers  immune system is lowered making them more susceptible to infection (Hawkins, Roberto-Nicholas & Stanley-Haney, 2020).The management plan for this patient would include expectant management.
