The argument paper should begin with a one- to three-sentence statement of the main thesis. A thesis is an argument concerning an issue. It clearly states the author’s perception. Your paper should present your beliefs or conclusions related to the topic. It should include references from the readings and outside journals and scholarly work. These are not the same as a persuasive essay. An argument paper presents the stance in a more forceful manner.
The paper should be 3-4 pages (not including title page and reference list – that means 750-1000 words). You are expected to use APA format for all elements.
