Pose, to a group of K-8 students, a question from one of the cases you have read or seen. The case study should be about 2-3 pages in length. Write about your question, what you expected, what really happened, and your reflection. Please describe specific examples of what your students say and do. Looking at the work of a few students in detail may be better than trying to incorporate the whole class. The most important thing is to illustrate some aspect of the students’ mathematical thinking. Use the format of the cases from the casebook as a guide.
