Information Technology and Patient Satisfaction

Information Technology (IT) can be a great tool in our caring environment, but it can also be perceived as a hindrance. Recent patient satisfaction surveys have had comments such as “the nurse and the doctor were more interested in the computer than me” and “I felt like they were treating the machines not the person connected to them.”
