J took 12.05 minutes to walk to school, and then 5.5 minutes more to get to Ashley’s home.  After he and Ashley finished talking, J walked home by a different route taking 15.275 minutes.

1.  If Jim spent .5 of the time from Ashley’s house jogging instead of walking, which path do you think was the longer distance?   Why?

2.  If Jim stopped every .05 hours to talk to someone he met on the road, aobut how many times did he stop on the way home?
