Comment on two classmates discussions about Functions

In your follow-up posts, please provide a solution to a scenario posted by a classmate, and be sure to ask questions and offer suggestions. What are the limitations of their functions? If you think about extremely large or small cases, does the function still work? (In the example above, what if you never slept? Could you consume coffee and survive? What if you overslept or had no coffee? This function does have some limitations.)

Hello Class!

My fiance and I are selling tickets to our Jack and Jill. On Saturday, we made $240 by selling 12 adult tickets and 3 children tickets. On Sunday, we sold an additional 4 adult tickets and 1 child ticket totaling $85. How much is an adult ticket? A child ticket?

A=adult ticket

C=child ticket

Classmate # 2 Darla

A movie theater made sold 325 adult tickets and 67 child tickets on a Friday night. One adult ticket costs $9.00 and one child ticket is $4.50. Calculate how much money the movie theater made that night and then add on +2.5% tax rate. How much money with added taxes did the movie theater make that Friday night?

If you have any questions please feel free to ask, have a good week!
