Chicago Manual of Style
For this assignment, you are to author 5-7 pages in 12 point Times New Roman font, double spaced, with 1″ margins on any subject within the purview of the philosophy of race. While no outside sources are required, yet all and any citations are to be presented as Chicago Style footnotes, and the additional formatting ought to be in accordance with the Chicago Manual of Style. A formatting exemplar has been attached for your convenience (please do review it).. Whereas on the midterm you were responding to particular questions, on this assignment, you are to introduce, develop, and resolve your own thesis. There are two parameters I’m looking for here: 1) does this pertain to the philosophy of race? (hopefully, this one is obvious) and 2) does the student adequately develop his/her thesis herein? This is to be attached as an MS Word document (.doc) to this dropbox. No other formats shall be accepted (.pdf, .rtf., .txt., etc). This assignment is due no later than 11:59 P.M on March 8th (this is three additional days later than what I specified in class, but is the precise midpoint of the semester).
