advocate for nurses

Report Issue
Across the country, every state has several organizations that represents and advocate for nurses, the American Nurses Association (ANA) being one of the largest organizations believes that advocacy is a pillar of nursing. Nurses instinctively advocate for their patients, in their workplaces, and in their communities; but legislative and political advocacy is no less important to advancing the profession and patient care. The ANA speak on behalf of nursing in Tallahassee as well as before many regulatory bodies, in my opinion it is necessary to have these organizations to represent nurses because it gives us the opportunity to express our concerns and ideas to the higher ups to be able to provide the best care possible for our patients
