In this paper, discuss the clinical parameters for identifying, assessing, and using psychotherapeutic strategies with people who have experienced trauma. Include research and education implications related to the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner’s approach to the treatment of people who have experienced trauma and/or been diagnosed with a personality disorder.
